The 2012 West Region EMS Conference is scheduled February 24 - 26, 2012, in Ocean Shores, WA. This year's educational offerings include a full day of pediatric training on Saturday, February 25.

Lungs for Jake Update

Thanks to your efforts Jake got a set of lungs on Tuesday, June 14!! He continues to make incredible progress. Many of you who attended the West Region EMS Conference in February heard the story about Jake Drewry, a young man with Cystic Fibrosis who needed a set of lungs. Most of you gave to the amazing $9,000 in contributions made that weekend. First responders all over the Puget Sound area have contributed more than $40,000 to the cause in the past few months. The surgery cost more than $1 million - insurance convered only about one third of that. Thank you again for your support.
